The design process was a delicate dance between comfort and spacial functionality – ensuring each defined zone served its practical purpose without feeling small or compromised of much needed space. Kitchens were designed in white laminate to avoid occupying visual space and weight, with ends finished off with a generous  radius in order to elegantly blend into the wall. Small nooks in the architecture were utilized for storage solutions like delicate open shelving, and a material palette of warm oak wood, limewash walls, and natural finish ceramic tiles make an otherwise generic space feel cosy. Ground floor apartments boast cosy outdoor spaces, which Studio Moravova finished in the same indoor tile for the terrace, and softened in warm hued gravel to provide softer ground for furnishings around the small wading pool.
