After purchasing a beautifully renovated Ibiza finca, the homeowners hoped to infuse the property with a more personal touch. Despite the high-quality finishes selected by the previous architect, the home felt cold and somber, leaving the clients feeling as though it wasn’t quite theirs.
CHALLENGE
The clients were looking to create a home that embodied their jovial spirit and way of living: vibrant colors, robust textures, artisan-made pieces, generous spaces for socializing, and an unmistakable connection to the sea and local landscape.
SOLUTION
Studio Moravová focused on sourcing unique pieces with meaningful stories, aiming to give each space a lived-in quality—a tactile balance of craftsmanship and design, curated with care and authenticity. Thoughtfully layered antique vases, handmade ceramics, and bespoke rustic-wood furnishings make every detail feel intentional and perfectly placed. Custom upholstery and artwork in vivid colors and expressive prints infuse the rooms with vibrant energy, harmonizing effortlessly with the surrounding rustic elements. Outside, juniper and eucalyptus pergolas bring a playful charm through their natural irregularities, casting elegant shadows that shift throughout the day. The result is a home rich in character and warmth—a reminder that sometimes all it takes to transform a house into a home is a discerning eye, meaningful details, and a desire to celebrate the Mediterranean way of life.
