SUBJECT
Designed for a trendy young professional with a passion for travel and sport, the project aim was to adapt to the client’s fast-paced, multi-disciplinary lifestyle while maintaining a serene ambience throughout.
CHALLENGE
Consisting of a main floor with an access to a private rooftop, the client requested to have two distinct spaces – one for entertaining and one for relaxing – that would both play with an eclectic colour palette while maintaining a sophisticated and cohesive design language. The initial layout lacked storage solutions for the client’s various hobbies and interests.
SOLUTION
Deep hues of blue, teal and emerald green provide a stark contrast with industrial lighting finishes and a classic Persian rug, creating a contemporary and refined interior with just the right jovial touch.
In the living room, a long bench that doubles as a shelving system provides a chic way to store small items without jeopardizing space. The rooftop terrace was filled with a plethora of plants, surrounding the dining and lounge area to create a true urban oasis.
